Óðinn

2009 - 2023

Óðinn was my devoted canine, and I his devoted human. He was beautiful, elegant, fearless, and most of all, the most loving dog. Óðinn came into my life a wee ball of fluff, and grew to be an ever curious, enthusiastic companion. Everything was an adventure with Óðinn. We did so many miles together he and I. Rocky beaches, trails through tall trees, wandering downtown and through parks. Óðinn was trained to alert me, as I am deaf, and I relied on him so much. I will miss him always.

There will never be another Óðinn

I always said to him through his life , and often as I watched him slipping away, “ You are my everything. I know you know this to be true, because I am your everything too “
