2005 - 2017

Our journey began on March 11th 2006, when we adopted you from a shelter. Most people think of adopting a pet from a shelter as a “rescue”, a second chance the humans give the animal. That might be true, but for us, it was mostly the other way around. You rescued us from the very sad and chaotic situation we were going through. Among other woes, we were still mourning the loss of our previous pet, in spite of the years that had gone by since his passing. With you, everything changed; you gave us affection, purpose, a happy reason to get up and continue living; your presence slowly brought back peace and harmony to our home and our lives. Animals have the power to heal emotional wounds in humans and that is exactly what you did for us.
After 11 happy years you became ill and two short months later you left this world, and got free of the pain and suffering that you were enduring so bravely. May you rest and be free of pain forever, sweet Cata.
We love you and miss you more than words can describe. Now you only live and always will, in our hearts and our memories. Good bye sweet beloved Cata. Thank you for everything you did for us.
