Pet Cremation Services
We understand the need to be absolutely sure the ashes we return to you are those of your pet, and your pet only. There are no laws governing pet crematoriums, other than those imposed by provincial laws in regards to the environment - they only concern themselves with 'air quality' and not how pets are handled after death and during cremation. Very few laws protect our 'living companions' - there are definitely no laws to protect how 'our deceased companions' are treated. Pre-planning is an excellent way to choose a crematorium that will provide the best care for your special friend.To help you make the right decision, please read the following options very carefully:
CREMATION OPTIONS
When considering cremation, it is important to understand the three different options. Until We Meet Again Pet Memorial Center follows strict guidelines set out by the PLPA. Until We Meet Again does NOT offer partitioned cremations, the definition is included for information purposes only.
- A PRIVATE or INDIVIDUAL CREMATION is a cremation procedure during which only one animal's body is present in the cremation chamber during the cremation process. The animal is uniquely identified throughout the process. This results in the animal's cremated remains being the only remains processed and returned.
- A PARTITIONED CREMATION is a cremation procedure during which more than one animal's body is present in the cremation unit and the cremated remains of specific pets are to be returned. A method of separation is used between each pet, and the cremated remains of each pet are both identifiable and retrievable. Due to a number of factors, the commingling of cremated remains is more likely to occur than with a private cremation. This is why Until We Meet Again does NOT offer partitioned cremations.
- A COMMUNAL CREMATION is a cremation procedure where multiple pets are cremated together without any form of separation. Cremated remains are not returned to owners.

Scheduled and/or Witnessed Cremations
For some people being able to come to our center to say a final farewell is an integral part of their healing process. For others being close to their pet during the cremation process gives them peace of mind. We offer a tranquil reflection room for the family's use during he cremation process. Our reflection room was designed to be a place for people to relax and find peace. We encourage people to participate in as much or as little of the process as they are comfortable with. Some choose to stay for the entire cremation, while others wish to witness only the start of the cremation. This dedicated time has an extra service fee. Please contact our office for details or to set up an appointment.
Same Day Cremation
We offer a same day cremation service. This service is subject to availability and has an additional service fee. Please contact our office for details and availability.
Video Certification
The video certification of the private cremation is upon a family's request*. The video is tastefully done, showing exactly what you would see if you were attending the memorial service in person. There is nothing unpleasant such as the 'inside' of the crematorium during the cremation. Simply - the dignified and respectful handling of your beloved pet.
Online Video Streaming
With our exclusive 'AccessPass', you can witness the services from the intimacy of your home, via the Internet*. You will be provided with a special password to access our web-based cameras (webcam) - friends and family can access the service simultaneously from anywhere in the world to pay their final respects.
Video certification and online video streaming is offered to ensure the peace of mind of our pet parents, so they know their loved one was handled with care and the urn they lovingly place on their mantle contains only the ashes of their beloved companion.
